THE AUTHOR
MARK BROOKES

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Mark has several full length plays to his credit. Most notably POETS Day, which was performed in London, with all net profit donated to the children's charity, Barnardos.

He has recently penned, The Craic of Dawn and Pied de Grue; two stand-alone plays which accompany the revised POETS Day to form the, Crane Trilogy. The thought provoking saga of a disfunctional and criminally flawed family.

More information relating to the, Crane Trilogy can be found by clicking here.

Refering to Love, Monty. in a radio interview he expressed how much fun it was to write a lighthearted monologue compared to his trademark kitchen-sink dramas.

He enjoys reading at poetry festivals and visiting the cinema and theatre with his Son, Archie.

He carefully balances his Property Development carreer with writing and attending literary festivals. When asked, he explains his polarised activities as, "Well, one puts the food on the table, and the other feeds the soul."

With a credible and fresh body of writing, he feels the time is right to liaise with a suitable Publishing House

Publishing Houses are welcome to contact him using the email section below or calling +44 7860 645579.
